Teach A Man To Fish joins thousands of organisations in support of entrepreneurs
Teach A Man To Fish is joining 20,000 organisations supporting entrepreneurs transform ideas into action during Global Entrepreneurship Week 2021.
“This Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), we are celebrating some of the world’s most creative, innovative, and resilient citizens – and supporting them to become part of a better, more sustainable and more equitable post-pandemic world.” said Jonathan Ortmans, president of GEN.
Each November, GEW celebrates and empowers millions of entrepreneurs in every country and community around the world – especially individuals who face barriers or who have never considered the idea of starting their own business. Globally, more than 10 million people take part in thousands of activities, competitions and events that inspire them to act and give them the knowledge, experience and connections they need to succeed.
Launching the next generation of entrepreneurs
On 11 November 2021, Teach A Man To Fish will celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week by hosting a free online event, showcasing our new and improved Enterprise Adventure mobile app.
Targeted for teenagers, the app is free to use and users can go from zero business knowledge to having a plan for a real business that they can run themselves and make money from, in the space of just a few weeks. Through a mix of videos, quizzes and real-world activities, young people are taken on a journey of self discovery.
In this live event we will hear from young people from a range of countries who used the Enterprise Adventure app in 2020. They will tell us all about the businesses they planned and the impact it had on them. We will also demonstrate the new and improved 2021 version of the app and share information on how young people can access it.
