We are very happy to announce the results of the 2012 Pan-African Awards for Entrepreneurship in Education.
This year we are awarding organisations from 33 different countries with a total of $50,000 in prizes. The competition rewards organisations in Africa that are taking an innovative, entrepreneurial and sustainable approach to Education. Over 350 different organisations from across the continent, from Sudan to South Africa, Nigeria to Namibia and Botswana to Burundi, took part in the competition.
Following the success of last year’s competition, Teach A Man To Fish are pleased to announce our partnership with the Royal Commonwealth Society and Ashoka to launch the Commonwealth School Enterprise Challenge 2013
Congratulations to all the schools, teachers and students that took part in the 2012 competition. Over 800 schools from over 40 different countries took part in the competition, launching businesses as diverse as organic beekeeping to environmentally friendly arts and crafts. Prizes are awarded at global, regional and country levels.
We are launching a new Fellowship Scheme and looking to hire 2 fellows on an 18-months contract, of which 6 months will be in our London office and 12 months at an overseas placement in a developing country.

After an official & final count we can now announce that we have 587 schools signed up the School Enterprise Challenge 2011! We have had tremendous success and we want to thank all those who put in that extra mile to get the SEC 2011 known worldwide. We had newspapers articles published in over four countries and not to mention the numerous tweets and facebook mentions we received.
